How to modify segment delimitation rules

To modify sentence delimitation rules

Click on the version of Déjà Vu that you are using, below:

  1. Access the menu option Tools>Options>Delimiters.
  2. The Delimiters tab is displayed with the source language of your current project.
  3. In the left part of the tab you can see the Rules, and in the right part the Exceptions to the rules. You can find more information about how the delimiters work here.
  4. Select the desired language
  5. Type the desired character and symbols in the Before Split and After Split fields.
  6. Once you have entered or modified your rule, click Add.

  2. The Segmentation tab is displayed with the source language of your current project.
  3. In the left part of the tab you can see the Rules, and in the right part the Exceptions to the rules. You can find more information about how the delimiters work here.
  4. Select the desired language
  5. Type the desired character and symbols in the Before Split and After Split fields.
  6. Once you have entered or modified your rule, click Add.

To remove a rule or exception

  1. Click the desired row on the table to select it.
  2. Click Delete.
